Protecting African Parks

Prince Harry, The Duke of Sussex has been involved with African Parks since 2016. This summer, in his role as President, he and African Parks CEO Peter Fearnhead welcomed and co-hosted a group of US officials, conservationists, and philanthropists as they toured protected wildlife and nature areas in Mozambique and Rwanda. During the trip, the visiting delegation learned about best practices in protected area management and the organization’s innovative model, which brings together local communities, government stakeholders, and conservation experts. Prince Harry and leaders from African Parks also traveled separately to Kafue National Park in Zambia to get a firsthand update on the park’s progress. To learn more about African Parks, click here.
